ATSM Course - Management of the Labour Ward

The aim of this meeting is to cover the theoretical component of the ‘Advanced Labour Ward Practice’ and ‘Labour Ward Lead’ ATSMs, which are undertaken as a ST6/7. The topics covered range from promoting normality, evidence-based practice, risk management and clinical governance, audit and guidelines, neonatology, anaesthetics, medical disorders, to practical obstetrics skills and how to run skills and drills training in your own unit. The programme includes a variety of authoritative speakers with ample time for discussion, debate and networking throughout the course of the meeting.  Cost: £250 per trainee for both days attendance.
