Aim of course: To becme family with the ideal machine set up and use of the transbdominal probe. To understand the theory of early pregnancy 'dating' (8-12 weeks) scans and ultrasound assessment of fetal size, liquor and the placenta.
Learning Objectives:
- Undestand the principals of conducting a safe and appropriate ultrasound examination
- Be able to record and label images accurately
- Understand ultrasound measurement of amniotic fluid volume
The course also incorporates a practical session with real patients!
