The 18+0 to 20+6 weeks fetal anomaly scan is a routine part of antenatal care.  This non practical course will cover the expectations and limitations of this scan, normal and abnormal fetal anatomy and the NHS Fetal Anomaly Screening Porgramme. This course is of relevance to all trainees in obstetrics and in particular to trainees undertaking the RCOG Fetal Anatomy Intermediate Scanning Module.

Fetal Anatomy Head, neck and face, Heart and chest.  Gastrointestinal and genitoourinary system. Extremities.  Fetal Growth.  Limitations of Ultrasound Scan.  NHS National Screening Programme.
