SWOGS South Western Obstetrical and Gynaecological Society Meeting
On behalf of the Torbay group of SWOGS, it gives us great pleasure to announce the date of the SWOGS 2012 Meeting. You will note that we have moved the date into September, in order to enable and encourage trainees to attend, avoiding the previous problems of some trainees having just arrived in their new jobs!
We are currently developing the programme to ensure that the SWOGS Meeting again offers an interesting combination of invited speakers and presentations from undergraduates and postgraduates. We will also have space for posters and an exhibition of companies. Abstracts deadline is 1st August 2012.
It promises to again be a top-quality day of education and interest and our venue this time takes some beating: come and meet the penguins!
On the evening of 28th September, we will host a dinner at The Elephant Restaurant and enjoy Michelin starred, fine dining overlooking beautiful Torbay Harbour, just opposite Living Coasts.
Accommodation has been arranged at The Palace Hotel, for those who wish to stay and enjoy more of the English Riviera! More details will follow.
We have chosen Torquay because the view offers us a truly picturesque backdrop for SWOGS 2012, as well as good train services from across the region. Do come and join us for an important day of education and networking.
