This interactive SWOT day will include tutorials from experienced laparoscopic surgeons covering
entry techniques, patient selection, laparoscopic suturing and electrosurgery.
The majority of the day will involve trainees rotating around simulation
stations with guidance from our experienced faculty. This will provide the
opportunity to practise the basics and learn new skills particularly with
regard to salpingectomy, cystectomy, specimen retrieval and laparoscopic
suturing using animal models.
We can accommodate a maximum of 12 people and the cost is £30 to include lunch.
